Tarryn Fjords in Marauder's Sea is named after Tarryn, child of a famous pirate. Snow peaks, a channel gauntlet, and how to play.
Tarryn — T-A-R-R-Y-N — was one of a famous pirate's children. While the adult captains argued over rum and ransom, the kid charted the ice channels, named the three middle isles, and came home with a sketch that still matches the water. The fjords keep the name as a dare: if a child could run this gauntlet, so can you.
The center channel is the war. Control the three islands and you tax every north-south sail. The continent edges are fractal cover — good for hiding a Port, bad for getting lost. Inland Batteries on high snow ridges punish anyone who parks in the lane.
