Hollow's Isles in Marauder's Sea: a lantern-grin island with radiating rivers and beach deltas. Folklore and play notes.
The Hollows were a wrecking family who hung a lantern in a carved cliff so lost ships would steer toward the teeth. The grin is still there. Every river that leaves the skull is a story about a cargo that never made the open water. Keep a light on your own mast; the isles like company.
Hold the interior high ground and the river mouths. Eight to ten deltas mean many landing ramps — pick two to fortify instead of chasing all of them. Surrounding islets are minefields in more than one sense.
