Folklore

Old salts claim a giant walked off the edge of the chart and left one last print. The central lake is the hollow of the heel; the rivers are the toes spreading into the surf. If you hear drums inland, it is only the tide knocking in the lakes — or so the sober ones insist.

How to play it

The island is a march, not a scrum. Expand along the rivers toward the deltas, then rotate a navy around the long coast to pinch anyone stuck in the interior. Cities near the central lake keep population flowing while you fight for the beaches.
