Caldera Island (Ancient Caldera) in Marauder's Sea: a crescent harbor, inner beaches, and outer cliffs. Folklore and play tips.
The crescent is the lip of a dead fire-mountain. Pirates once used the inner bay as a nursery for prizes — quiet water, many river mouths, and cliffs that hide masts from the open sea. The outer rock is still called the Widow's Wall: landings there are rare, and so are the people who try them.
The inner curve is the highway. Claim a river-delta beach, raise a Port, then walk Inland Batteries up the spine so they look down into the bay. The eastern island is a second theater — useful if the crescent gets crowded.
